Tiles

The second project I completed showcased many different methods of surface texture for example my favorite one which is on the purple tile is called sgraffito. Sgraffito is when you already have something colored and you use a tool to cut out a design or pattern. You could then leave it like that or fill it with underglaze/glaze to give it a nice second color.

From left to right we have 1. Sgraffito. 2. Bubbling. 3. Cratering. 4. Stamping. 5. Addative.
